Time to clear your schedule between Jan 21–25, it’s time to play some demos!
We have our first game showcase of 2021 on Steam! The Big Adventure, run by Hitcents, is highlighting adventure games that look promising. In addition, there are an abundance of demos to try out. Like previous showcases, a lot of these will be limited. Sadly, there has been some changes with how the limited demos work. Before, you were able to download them, and play them later despite the demo being taken down. However, since the last Steam showcase, you have to play the demos during the timeframe as once they get taken down, you’ll just get a button to purchase/check out the Steam store page. Even the work around of just going straight to the executable doesn’t work for most of the games. So make sure to play them while you can! You can access the Steam page HERE to see all games participating, maybe find a game or two you’re interested in, and check out developer livestreams.
